I don't think this is a big thing but i still want to post it , :) my guinea pig , Zoey , is having a brown thing at her front paw , it doesn't come off and she really squeals when i try to pull it off , i tried to only 3 times because i don't want to stress her , she had it for a week and i don't know what to do.But i don't think this is a big issue but i would like to know what is happening. :laluot_20:

It may be a foot spur. They are perfectly harmless so long as they are not causing the piggy any bother.

They can be removed if they are causing neither. My Eliza has had one for about 3 years now but my vet has as used to leave it alone as it isn't doing her any harm.

If you want it removing, please ask a vet to do it for you and don't pull it off.

Spurs are very common in front paws; they are horney skin flaps. Please be careful when cutting; you don't want to cut too close to still live skin! If they are not too intrusive, just leave them be.
