Lady Kelly
Senior Guinea Pig
At least she's friendly. Handled her a few times.
On a unrelated note. Have you got discord for this place?
That is good. No we don't have discord. We encourage all chat to take part on the forum

We had problems with the flying saucer, as soon as Nala was fully grown, she would stand on it and it would topple overI should of said flying saucer. I don't think she knows how it works.
But I remembered we had a old wheel tucked away and put that in her cage and she jumped straight onto it for a run.
We are also gunna be getting her a. Bigger cage soon. Just need to save up abit. We moved her into a slightly bigger one. And put 1 drawf into that one we moved her too.
She loves climbing so we are gunna get another hamster heaven cage. We have one for the other Syrian and it's really good.
Your hamster is exploring her new cage, which is perfectly normal.Just wondering. Can hamsters suffer from big cage fright?. We had her in a big one and she was mad trying to escape. She was at risk of hurting herself.
So we had to move her into a smaller one.
And she seems happy as Larry. Doesn't seem to be trying to escape or nothing and just seems more relaxed
Maybe for her safety, have a look into making a cage that doesn't have bars she can climb up or squeeze through. She may be slightly stressed as she doesn't know what to do with the space. Before you found her you don't know how long she was on that tiny cage for, she wouldn't know any differentShe's constantly trying to find a way out.
For 2 days she was just at the edge trying to climb up climbing things we had to move her to a smaller barred cage as she about to hurt herself trying to get threw some gaps.
We've ordered a new big cage for her so hopefully she will settle in that.
She's definitely a odd one
I would give her some time to settle in. New environment could be intimidating for her. She's constantly trying to find a way out.

Well this hamster is kind of odd.
She doesn't use a wheel.
She keeps tipping her house over.
Sleeps in the open.
Is very very active during the day. (probably because she doesn't use a wheel)
Also unlike my other Syrian. She's busy trying to find a way out of her cage.
We also put her in a hamster ball and she went that fast init she broke it and almost escaped.

We had a really big female hamster... we have a picture of her next to our baby guinea pig because they seriously were about the same size. Our current one is much smaller. I think there is just a range of sizes, just like dogs/cats/humans.Mine looks kind of like a big bear lol
Are females bigger than males?
