To me, it's just her talking to you...
She's not trying to bite you or push your hand away
(which they sometimes do when they don't want fuss).. so I don't think it's anything to worry about, she's just vocal .

she does normally jump out of her skin... shes absolutly terrified...!
she came form someone who was goign to breed her becuase she bites and cant be a pet... and i was like... god she cant be that bad... and to be fair shes never bitten my properly but she nips alot... and shes hellish to catch and keep hold of....
she pushes my hand away and nips and scratches... shes stated being slightly better behaved... its been hard work to get her to sit still like that for more than 2 seconds...

shes the most vocal pig ive ever had... and mine wheek... but concidering there hutch and run is down the bottom of my garden... and i was in my bedroom... which is at the front of the house... i could hear her wheeking... she had gotten in the way of one of the old girlies and she'd been trampled slightly....:...
she was fine... but she is LOUD for a tiny little thing...

Logan started to popcorn and squeak when I played the video|) I think he's made a friend bless him |)


Logan is a fairly vocal pig when I have him out for snuggles/playtime, with him being born here and handled daily theres no explanation to why he is so vocal, I think its just his little way of talking to me. If I leave the room when he is out he squeals for me to come backrolleyes

I think it could also be a baby thing, my Toffee was like this when she was a baby, she didn't shut up the whole time, i always wondered if it was a good or bad noise but figured if she was in pain or i was hurting her she would be running away. She is better now, she just makes a cooing type noise and gets eally comfortable.

ive never had one that vocal before and shes got a herd mate whos about the same age... give or take a week...
and also nuzzle and scratch were similar ages when i got them...
and no one in the herd now is as loud as her... her closest competition os jazz who wheeks at every little noise expecting food...!... fattie...

Most juvenile piggies wheek alot when you stroke them, (coming from someone who has had 7 piggies from babies) also piggies that have not had much handling do it. It's them 'objecting' to having fuss, if they havent had it and don't know what it is.. it's them saying get off me.

The more she's handled the better she will be and the more she will like it. Keep at it, you will get there in the end! x

shes a pain in the bum...

but we loves her...
she just doesnt like being touched...!... and shes a pain to catch...
i got her from someone who was picking her up by the neck...mallethead... so shes not too keen on the idea of being touched...
we'll get there eventually...
I'm hoping she will learn that the big pink hand means NOMS...!...
