What are your thoughts on Inviromac

I have had some of my Guineas given me,the lady i got them from told me to use Inviromac to keep them calm,does anyone else use this or have you ever heard of it. :-\
 
Ivermectin is a broad-spectrum anti parasite medication that treats mites in guinea pigs and isn't used as a calming method. There is no need to calm guinea pigs down, I wouldn't give any drugs unless they absolutely needeed it for illness. :)
 
Thanks very much,i didnt know what to do,my guineas are all fine they way they are wouldnt change there ways,just getting headaches,being told different things.Thanks again.
 
Always check, here is a good plac to get proper info and also if in doubt ask your vet. :)
