ThanksHere’s a pic of the white one I’m not sure if she is abbysian or a long haired
It's hard to tell from the photo, but it looks like she may have some abyssinian in her crossed with another long haired breed.Would u say my white one was an
Abbysnian
Should u brush a Peruvian as I have not brushed her since I got her and her companion tango . I don’t want to stress her out
Most long haired piggies will require a certain level of maintenance - keeping hair knot free, and trimmed particularly around the back end so to not drag on the ground
Thanks piggie and buns . Should you trim the hair on there sides at all
I always try to keep my boy’s hair off the ground (so yes I I cut around his back end and sides) So if doesn’t pick up bedding and get matted
What bread is your boy

I did trim her bum hair a few weeks ago I’m not quite sure if her side hair is quite long enough for her to fall over herselfIn the Daily Care section of the forum you will find a thread entitled ‘An Illustrated Guide to Hair Cutting’ written by @Betsy .
It’s very helpful.
As @Piggies&buns and buns has said it’s important to keep the bum fur short.
I do this with Priscilla and I also trim her skirt so she doesn’t fall over herself.

If her side hair is dragging on the floor, then I would cut it so it is just above the floor
I can try but she will probably just dart away
Okay thanksThe guide which Merab’s Slave has mentioned is here An Illustrated Guide to Hair Cutting
It gives useful tips on how to cut their hair. It’s going to take time for her to get used to it though. Almost four years on, and my Dex still doesn’t like it but it is an important part of care. I only trim his back end and sides in winter and leave the top long, but in summer he gets a full body cut so all his hair is short (it can take me a few days to get it all done though)
i think the white one is a sheba aka bad hair day guinea pig and the ginger one is a smoothhairWhat bread would u say my guinea pigs are
