Hello - Penny has been having some bloating issues over the past week and I've been to the vet to resolve them. This week she's been on cisapride, meloxicam, and lactulose. I've also been giving her Critical Care since she lost weight. Overall, she did great this week and gained weight but today I noticed her poos look more like...diarreah? They're not really runny - they are solid but soft, but definitely don't look normal. It kind of looks like a couple poos combined in one then Penny stepped in them. I wish I got a photo.
Anyway, not really sure if this is diarreah but I was wondering what could cause this? Is it possible to give too much Critical Care? She's been on the meds mentioned above before and have had no problems.
Any advice or words of experience would be appreciated!

It’s not the critical care. Critical care is fibre which is what they need.
I would think it’s one of the meds. Do speak to your vet

Lactulose for humans has a possible side effect of diarrhoea, but I've not any experience of it prescribed in pigs. I thought guinea pigs didn't get constipation?

Hope she feels better soon 🤞
