the names Fergie & Maple? we should have a names thread on here? I know you cant give a piggy a name till you've seen it but - i love those two names
 
I have always named the pigs when I've got them. I like Maple, Fergie reminds me of Alex Ferguson and that's not good! ;D
 
hehe, i was thinking more of the ultra loverly Fergie from black eyed peas

My names maiden name was Ferguson too! :D

The only one I named before I saw him was Eccles (named after Christopher Eccleston) Sunshine is an orange shade so reminds me of the Sun, Twinkle has sparks of fur flying off in all directions so is like a star. Flora and Fleur, Fleur because she is orange and reminded me of a Flare and Flora matched it and Pudsey because we got him on children in need night and he is the same colour. We had Cuzzy who was called after Caitlin's love of custard but she can't say it.

I like Blossom and Primrose I need to stop watching Fifi and the flowertots! :D
 
i named bob and munchie before i got them ;D but i knew i would be able to choose which piggies i wanted from a herd, and i knew i def wanted a black pig and a tri colour so i had planned it all out ;D

i didnt know what to call merlin at first, then his name suddenly came to me while i was watching him :)

i like the name maple, it would be good for a ginger pig
 
It takes me ages to come up with names for my pets, my hamster is named after chesney out of corrie!
My previous cat was named after theo out of the cosby show! :)
 
There are some names I like which I've heard on here one being peaches and the other being herbie so I'm sorted for future pets! :smitten:
 
it took me ages to decide what to call maisy, i made my OH draw a brainstorm on the white board ;D My OH named Poppy but i wanted that name too, and i already decided on Cookies name when i decided i wanted a 3rd :D
 
well I'm sure i will decide tommorrow or whenever i get some what to call them ::)
 
sometimes i decided before but took me 9 weeks to name meeka lol i was between willow/blossom and meeka so i went for the unusual one ;D she suits it though its a cheeky name, and shes a cheeky lil madam!
 
We've always waited until getting the pet and then looking at them and sometimes even waiting a day or so to see their nature :smitten:

lol like our last dog, whom we named Gyppy that was cause we got him at 16 days old and fed him with dolls baby bottles his mum had milk fever and he was such a guts.. hence we called him a pig....we changed the i to a y and reversed the letters :D :D :D it really suited him tho :smitten:
 
When I was little we had a dog called Snappie, we took letters from mum,dad, my brother and my name and made a name.

Snappie was never Snappie she was a lovely sweet little dog ;D ;D
 
My children ended up naming mine, so I didnt have a choice ;D
