Hi, just wondered if there was a guide as to what a healthy piggie should weigh?

Apologies if i've missed a thread about this somewhere else, but i've hunted and can't find one!

Was curious as i've been reading posts about feeding etc and all say as long as they are healthy and good weight, but i don't know what weight my 3 girls should be.

Simba & Buster are now 9 weeks, Whisper is now 7 weeks

Thanks

Weight varies very much from pig to pig. I have one adult who weighs in at only just 2lb, while I have another who is 3lb 8oz...both perfectly healthy weights for those individuals!

As an average guide, 2lb - 4lb (800g - 1800g) can be normal for adult piggies. They usually settle on their adult weight at about 10-12 months old. As long as the pigs belly does not sit/drag on the floor when they stand and walk, then generally they're a healthy weight for that individual.

my piggie is **** about 2/3 months old & 1pound 4 is this ok? i sometimes think he might be too fat & that I am over feeding him. I feed him pets @ home nuggetts & they only say how much to feed a adult which is something like 30-50 grams a day. I feed george 30 but he only actually eats about 20grams. I just re-fill to 30 each day incase he gets hungry! :)
