What is it about the fireplace?

I've just had to shoo Daisy out from behind the wood burning fireplace (no fire luckily). This means that so far I've had 3 piggies decide it's a good hiding place this week and they are not due a bath for another 3 weeks. Such naughtiness. As I'm typing Daisy's just gone back behind there. Whats the fascination?

The worst is when Dillon who's black and white decides that he has to follow Sweep in there and he comes back out mainly smudgey black!
