My OH bought this bunch of coriander yesterday, I'm not sure if the thinner looking leaves are just young coriander, or what they are! Can anyone identify them and assure me that they*are ok for piggies to eat?*

The other herb is dill and perfectly fit to feed!

In fact, I have just come back from the market myself yesterday with two bunches of coriander, one of dill and one of flat leaf parsley for the piggies.

Please don't feed dill and parsley daily; coriander/cilantro can given daily; about a sprig per pig. Dill is also excellent with fish and cucumber salad if you would like to eat it yourself.

Thanks - they liked it what ever it was! Just one sprig of coriander per piggy per day? Gosh, I certainly need to cut back....

All my pigs will eat dill, but it is a firm favourite of Cameo's!

My mum is raiding the herb garden where she works for dill today (she's a chef!) as it never gets used, so my pigs have it in plentiful supply :))

It looks like coriander to me when it's just about to go to flower - the leaves get thinner.

Dill is finer - best way is to crush some between your fingers - if it smells sort of aniseedy then it's dill - if there is no smell at all it could be Hedge Parsley which is also OK to feed.
