What the best kind of hay?

Doesn't it depend on the age and diet needs of your GP? Mine are healthy 2 and 4 year old females, and they have 2018 Timothy Hay, which I find is nice and dark green, and fairly soft. I also give them 2019 main cut Timothy Hay, which is much tougher and more stalky, but less frequently, as I worry about them getting spiked in their eyes.

Any hay is generally good hay. Your piggies may have a preference but all is fine.

I asked Fudge and Jemima. They were very firmly of the opinion that the best kind of hay is the hay in front of them

Any grass hay is perfect for their regular diet.

Type of hay is not relevant to their age. The only diet need when if comes to hay is that they have a lot of it!
