What is this thing on my daughters guinnea?

Could be something fungal. I’d advise a vet appointment after Christmas to get it checked out.
 
To me it looks like a cyst or abscess that has burst... worth getting checked out in case it needs further draining or antibiotics.
 
Please go to the vets with it and ask them how to deal with it if it reapers. We have a recurring one on Bruce that we have been taught to look after.
