What is this weed? Is it safe for piggies to eat?

My dad collected some weeds from his lawn for me to give to the piggies if they are safe for them. I am not sure what weed it is so if anybody can identify it that would be great!

Looks like plantain, do u have a pic from directly above the leaves? They usually have a long thin stalk & brown compact flower/seed heads too. There are two types the short round & the long thin leaved varieties, if it's plantain its safe for them to eat
Can we see another pic before you feed them it tho?

I agree. My lawn is full of plantain and the piggies eat them whilst they are out on the grass but a picture from above will be great just to confirm

The long thin leaved variety


You can make out the flower heads

And the short fat variety growing in the gravel path


The girls do eat it, but they prefer dandelions
