What is your piggies favourite fruit/veg?

Still figuring out what Poppy's faves are but so far she adores romaine lettuce, cucumber, carrot, cabbage, green beens, corn on the cobs (havent tried the leaves yet as i havent seen any) apple, banana skin and green pepper

Lucky loves all of the above plus kale, leafy corn on the cob with the silks and leaves, italian chicory, pepper and occasionally grapes although i cut them in half.

Ive tried parsley in the cage, and coriander but neither of them will touch it. I'll keep trying though.. they both have a sniff, but end up leaving it! I may try them on dill and some others next time i shop.

Lucky absolutely adores dandelion leaves and grass, I must go into the garden and pick some so that Poppy has that luxury too!
 
Mine love Carrott! All time favourite by far! Green, red pepper, they like cucumber but it has to be cut other wise they won't eat it and Marvin also adores corn of the cob just reminded me I must get them some and both scroff Parsley must try some other herbs! :))
 
Caramel loves the floret on broccoli and Barbara likes the stem - so between them it all goes. They both love carrot and melon rind. Caramel (my avatar) loves tomato but dribbles so by the time she has finished she looks like a vampire piggie xx>>>
 
Caramel is such a GORGEOUS piggy! I even showed your avatar to my BF last night. I love the thought of her dribbling tomato (I am weird like that! :{:(|) )

It is so nice to hear all the piggies favourites! As mentioned before, you buy the posh stuff and they aren't bothered, you fill the dish with Somerfields last minute bargains and they wolf it down! rolleyes:(|)
 
tomato scabs

Have just had to stop tomatoes altogether as I think it might be responsible for some nasty mouth scabs poor Mabel has got. I only feed apple in very small quantities so i don't think it was that (unless she was pinching it all,lol) but cherry toms were a relatively new addition. So I think fruit wise we'll stick with pair for a while because its less acidic.
I was thinking about courgettes will have to try them. And I've just gone wild and bought 4 brussel sprouts (!) just in case they like them.

Which weeds? Do you have to be careful about identifying them? I'm a gardening moron. I have many more weeds than grass!
 
Mine love tons, dandelions, grass, carrots, green beans, fine beans, banana, apple, pear, fennel, cucumber, lettuce, spinach, cauliflower leaves, cabbage, bean sprouts, posh long broccoli (purple or green), corn on cob, peppers, tomatos, sprouts...

they hate, parsnips, turnips, regular broccoli, cauliflower, courgette, (they are slightly fussy :)) )
 
Mine love melon, banana, apple (they seem to prefer green to red), broccolli, leafy celery, corn on the cob, baby corn, green beans, kale, pak choi, spinach, lettuce, peppers, cucumber and carrots.

They really don't like tomatoes, parsnips or turnip and the girls refuse to touch pear or courgette.

We discovered this morning that Wispa likes toast - she tried to steal mine off my plate! Fortunately it wasn't a really jammy bit or she would have been experiencing her first bath.
 
Mine dont eat cucumber or cabbage, they like lettuce, carrots, parsley and love broccli.

Please can someone tell me whuwhich size of cup do you refer to when you say they need a "cup of veggies" a day, Is it a tea cup size or normal/coffee cup size?

Peggy and Poppy absolutely adore cucumber and wheek their heads off if they don't get any at veg time and leave most other veg as if to say "what no cucumber!" :(|)

My pigs love cucumber and broccoli the most :) The munch it all up straight away. I give them cabbage sometimes which they like too. Also gave them pak choi last night and they adored it!
 
mine love cucumber carrots and chard!
 
Mine love cucumber, celery, carrots and baby corn and they hate tomatoes and apple. I'll give mine sprouts at christmas, they've never tried it before.
