What sort of treats?

Hi All,

I've been looking at pet websites trying to decide what treats to buy for my piggies next and i came across this:

Naturals Dandelion Sticks 120g

Hard baked treat sticks for all small animals. Ingredients: Cereals, seeds, nuts, eggs Protein 15.21%, Oils 12.77%, egg products, Fibre 8.35%, Ash 5.16% Dandelion 10%


Is it OK to give my piggies treats that contain cereals, seeds and eggs protein?

Also slightly off topic, does anyone know if you can give piggies dry herbs- if so what kind are best or are a particular favourite?
 
Well seems as i'm not sure i'm not going to risk getting them- at least theres plenty of other things to try :)
 
Ours enjoy the bunny nature Crunchy Crackers, or the Critters Choice treat range and they are sugar free too. I tried them with some nibble rings the other day and they went mental for them, they love fresh herbs too but are not over keen on dried coltsfoot.
 
Mine love vegtables again like above they've just not touched the shop bought treats which ae far pricer than veggies from your local green grocers or store :)
 
I have tried mine with a few shop bought treats and they are not really keen on them, plus as others have said I find them quite pricey for what they are. Now I just stick to fresh veg grass and dandilions.
 
Guinea Pigs are Vegan (Strict) Vegans. I Would not recommend "Egg", Milk or anything else that is dairy.
