what temperature is too cold for indoor piggies to play outside in the run?

Well all mine are indoors including rescues, they were out for a couple of hours in the garden but now at 1.30pm its 11c and they are all in. Not worth risking illnesses

i haven't risked it today. it says the temp is 15, but it feels really chilly.

15 seems ok if there is no breeze though, the other day was fine.

wish we could have had a bit longer with the nicer weather! they have loved playing out all day.

:(|) Glad its not just me! I think 15 is probably about the coolest I would put mine out. Its about that today in sunny shropshire so 2 of mine are out for an hour. If they start huddling in the enclosed end of the run I get them in.
It's so hard to judge, one minute too hot, then too cold, I hate British weather :{
 
I lay on the grass first of all. If I feel chilly, if the ground feels a little cool, or if there is a breeze, the pigs don't come out. :))

I had a giggle about that - the image of a grass angel sprang to mind (opposite of a snow angel). I take my shoes off and feel the grass temp, my neighbours probably already think I'm mad without me lying on the lawn rolleyes
 
I only have one neighbour now (out of 4 houses joining onto my garden), luckily she loves piggies just as much. Otherwise yes, I would worry for how others perceive my sanity!
 
:)) we must all do the same thing! :))

the suns out today but it's just that breeze, it's chilly. bit chilly to me = body temp -10! :))
 
Standing on the grass with your bare feet first is another good way to test the ground - if your feet are feeling cold, your piggies soon will as well!
