So today I was late home from work and getting really anxious worrying my babies would be wheeking for me... walked in... looked in the piggy room...
Clover and Blod were taking a nap together.
Theo and Puggle were making enthusiastic piggy love on the roof of the castle house.
Jezzy and Piggle had turned their carrot cottage upside down and Jezzy was riding in it while Piggle pushed her round the hayroom like a fairground ride.
Did you miss me guys? Are you starving and neglected? I stood there for 3 or 4 minutes until they noticed I was there, then they all froze and looked at me, then looked at each other, then looked at me again... then the wheeking started! They were having a great time without me, I am only the harbinger of fresh veggies!

@PigglePuggle i love your descriptive posts!
i think cupboard love really is the order of the day!

My oldie Orca - i believe spends all of her time either eating or sleeping, i went in & lifted their cover the other morning, Orca was sparked out on top of the hay pile fast asleep, i had to wave a chunk of cucumber under her nose to make her wake up! Pancaking is a favourite position of hers!

Squiggle - mugs everypig for food, or snuggles up with Orca.

Bumblebee - rumblestruts her hormonal, dominating, fuzzy butt, tries a little chasing dance & is determined to try her luck or sits in the back of the hay pile trying to sleep.

Tiggy - likes her own company & likes to sit in the bedroom, wheeking for attention or trying to push her way past Squiggle, who occasionally insists on blocking the bedroom door in a bid just to annoy Tiggy! but Tiggy will vacate the bedroom if Orca wants to sleep in there & doze next to the bedroom wall.

It makes me really happy that once the veggies are gone and they just have plenty hay and water then they all have their own secret independant piggy lives when I'm asleep or at work... I would hate to have bored piggies just waiting around all day for me to entertain them!
Oollah-woollah and Ollie were a bit more keen for attention because they had messed up their cuddle couch and hay room with many wees and poops, once that was fixed and they had their dinner veg they also ignored me :)

I have lazy piggies! When we are in, they are usually running around, making a mess in the living room, and all that jazz. But whenever we go out for the day, they usually go up the 2nd floor of their hutch (we close the gate of their attached run so they won't run around the living room unsupervised) and stay there the whole time sleeping (and of course eating the food there). They won't go down to the bottom floor and the attached run though. How do we know this? Everytime we go back, they are always upstairs, the food bowls below are still full and uneaten (even the grass!) and the 2nd floor are full of poops!

Whenever we arrive though, they would start to go down and then eat the food downstairs like we only just put it there! I don't think they like being left alone that much. Or they really just want to sleep all day (like what I want to do sometimes, but can't 😂).
