What to do about previous owners food

Hello, we have adopted 3 beautiful guinea pigs all around 6 months old. The previous owner had a lot of knowledge and advised that she previously had tried them on pellets with mint in but they would not touch these, so told me the only thing they will eat other than veggies/hay are country fruity nuggets. From all the posts on the forums I am unsure if this is nutritional enough for them? What would be the best alternative to get them to eat pellets?
 
If your guinea pigs are eating veggies and hay , I wouldn’t worry too much if they aren’t eating pellets .
