Hi. I'm really in 2 minds about this. I have 2 boars Cable and Pixal who i used can't figure whether they are ok together or not. Iv tried them together before they are happy to run around together but if i put the back into a cage together they fight.

So i separated them, they live next to eachother but Pixal just sleeps all the time next to the dividing wall, he doesn't do anything. But when he's with cable he comes alive.

So today i thought ill try them again doing the usually rumbling trying to mount one another but things get alittle more heated some louder chattering teeth showing then they carry on wondering around. I'm just waiting for a scrap to happen

Cables over a year Old and Pixal is around 10 months.

Right now both happily munching hay.

What should i do?

I would leave them as they are not fighting and see whether they can hack it with just threats. It is not an easy age to rebond as they are only coming towards the end of the stroppy months, but are not fully out of them yet.

Otherwise, try an see whether you can keep the bond alive by having them share common run time every day, but have their private quarters until they are a bit older. Perhaps they like to move in with each other at some later point.

It is not an easy decision, but it is one that only you can make.

Thanks for your thoughts =) I think I'm going to do the sharing a run together then let them sleep in their own place for a while. cable was trying to be boss pig but pixal was getting bit crabby so i called it a day for their run. they do like each others company but they are both quite strong minded little pigs I'm hoping once their homones have cooled off theyll be more relaxed *fingers crossed*
