Nettles once dried?
We have tried to dry some nettles for the girls but what do we do with them now? If we just pulled the leaves off and stored them in a zip lock bag, would that be ok? I'm assuming they wouldn't eat the stalks?
Also we were reading the list of foods again and I noticed they can have cow parsley, could we just pick some and pop it in for them? We have quite a bit growing near by.

I keep all our dried forage in an old biscuit tin - it lasts forever that way, and then I can just add more dried pieces as and when I need to.
Mine eat every part of dried nettles including the stalks.

Thank you for the reply, I'll see what I can find.

Yes you can feed cow parsley. First time I gave it to mine it was fresh. Second time I dried it along with some broad leaf plantain and sticky weed...
