i use to feed gerty that is until the 15kg went up so much and now are very expenisve now i feed wagg guinea pig crunch and my are doing fine on that, but i'm not to sure if that good?:) i need to buy the 15kg bags as i've got 12 ting mouths to feed.

the best dry food is pellets, we use super excel, it can take ages to switch them over, but it is better for them as it does not have added colours and they eat it all not just the bits they like.

the two you mentioned arent the best, they promote selective feedings so the piggies pick at what they like and leave things in there which they should really eat.

Supa excel i also use and the piggies love it - first of all took a little bit of getting used to but the bowl now soon empties!

I tried that Wagg Crunch but pigs hated it and never ate much so swapped to Wagg Optimum which is just pellets and all my guys love it and I buy it in 10kg bag with having 12 mouths not to feed :))

Mine have Wagg Crunch & selectively feed but they flat refuse to eat pellets & i've tried every single one on the market but they were all losing weight by refusing to eat them rolleyes

mine are on the wag crunch stuff and there all love it i can get a big bag for £11 for my 11 guinea pigs. There also like gerty too but it cost to much money. Mine will eat pallats mixed in with other food but if i just put pallets in thier dish there wont eat them.

mine all eays all the wag cruch up anyways

Mine like Wagg crunch too and don't selectively feed - in fact there seems to be less waste with that than others I've tried. If they're happy on it then I'd leave them on it!

Mine enjoy wagg guinea crunch as well and do not leave much of it. They're not keen on pallets. I've tried to mix them in with their food but they leave the pellets :( x

Mine like the Wagg, they just leave some of the bits now and again. I know they say if they eat only bits of it, then they are not getting the right amount of Vitamin C, but i always fed veg everday and give them peppers which has V'c in so I dont worry too much about that. We tried ours on pellets, but they just turned their noses up to them, so dont use them anymore.

I feed my eight burgess excell pellets with a tiny bit of wagg crunch. None select feed and its one of the better mixers unlike gerty.
