Well seeing as I don't have piggies yet I want to know what everyone has in their guinea pigs cages.. anything interesting that I would have never thought about? (photos are good too )
Wooden logs, houses (wooden ones and cardboard ones), drainpipes, wooden bendy bridges, bricks, cuddly fleece houses and towels, hay corners, apart from the obvious foodbowl and waterbottle and hayrack, I think thats about it
This is an older picture, still has my beloved Lily in it :'(
I have now attached a run to the bottom, and also on this pic there arent any of the fleece houses or cardboard ones...
and I was just cleaning the bottom floor out thats why its closed off
thats one with the run, but again is missing half the stuff that I have put in now because of the cold.
My girlies have a cardboard box full of hay with a hole which they LOVE! Zubin and Ed have a pigloo and a chube and harry has a show box full of hay! you dont have to have alot of money to make interesting hidey holes for them x
Mine have got a pigloo each, chubes, wooden log cabin houses and fleece beds. Sophie also has a small box full of hay that none of the others can get their fat bums into! When they have floor time I use a lot of the kids' old toys like the weebles town and a noah's ark. They like to play with the weebles as well cos they roll around! Jake has a roll and chew ball and Treacle likes his drain pipes and plant pots. If you throw a towel or small sheet in they like to bury around in it.
Ooo I just noticed the title lol But ye same thing really Zoozones are too small to put stuff in. Misty and Sooty get a tent at night and Brandy has a wooden log thing in most of the time. Getting Misty and Sooty one soon hopefully.
Mine have a litter tray full of different hays - they love to bury and play in it as well as eating. Also have a wooden log tunnel, pigloos, a soft bed (Tilly's fave!), a small ramp for getting into the hutch but they love running underneath it, a seagrass mat and now a couple of bricks as well. I discovered by accident, that one of mine loves to sit on a brick so I have added a couple more!
