Well, yesterday night I was out for my OH's 21st birthday, so before I left, I gave them a hay top-up and some pellets, deciding that they would get their veg when I came back from the meal, so that they didn't scoff it all at once (which, of course, they would!)
When I came home, I walked out to their hutch, and they were all out, at the bars of the hutch, paws up, as if saying "EXCUSE ME. Where is our food?" Their faces were of total disgust, haha! As soon as they saw me, the wheeking began and didn't stop until I had loaded them up with lots and lots of veg.
They're just so funny :)

Looks like you got the blame squarely where it should lie! :))

Piggies CAN make you feel guilty for being late really well, can't they?

bless them all.mine make me feel guilty aswell sometimes especially first thing in a morning when you have just woke up and dying for a cuppa.I walk past mine and theye wheek like crazy.last week i thought i got away with it i closed there door the night before crept past in the morning got to the fridge for some milk closed it and a symphony of wheeking came form the room theye Know that when the fridge goes usually something tasty is coming there way.but then there the same with anyone who russles a bag in the house cos they think it contains hay LOL

Mine do that too, if we are late with their night time veg they run across the room and sit by their food bowls staring at me. Also if I get the hay out of the hall cupboard, by the time I get back into the room Gertie is usually sitting by her hay rack lol. Johnny is not usually as quick on the uptake and will come bounding up after. So cute.

Awww..

If I'm walking past their cage snacking on some veggies myself. They'll wheek really loudly, and give me a look of disgust. As if to say, "What? You're not going to share?"

my ladies has just started to do that as soon as i get in from school Juarez is patiently waiting by the bowl while Blaster is popcorning on top of the pigloo sooo cute and sooo funny x)
