What’s this noise…

It’s silent in the house and I’m just sat listening to the occasional sound coming from the girls tents. They look like they are sleeping, but they sound like they are communicating…?!

It goes - brrrrrrip, (Pause). Birrrrrip brrrp brrp (pause). Bipp bipp, (Pause) birrrrrrrrrip). (Pause) ….. and so it goes on. Now there’s hay munching and the same occasional sounds.

Are they communicating with each other do you think, or are these involuntary, content noises?

They will be communicating but without actually hearing it, its difficult to tell what you are describing.

Sounds like they are having a chat.
Our two love a natter with each other when sat together on the sofa. I suspect most of the time they are moaning about us humans, and what the slaves could do better!

When the herd was 4 sows it wasn’t unusual for them to be nose to nose chatting to each other for all the world like a group of gossiping ladies

I love listening to all the different sounds they use to communicate.
