Two things:
1. He has a little green patch on his nose right in the middle
2. On the edge of one of his ears is a crusty scabby patch, kind of white. I'll try and include pictures but it just looks like some tiny crustiness edging his ear. Do we take him to the vet?

Please have your boy seen for a fungal ear. it is most likely some mild kind of fungal, so I wouldn't panic. Normal visiting hours in the next few days are perfectly fine.

I think that the green patch on this nose is either just some splattered food/spit or a mild form of fungal if it is a strip straight down the middle of the nose.

The patch on his snoot- er, nose, has almost gone, probably food or something. We'll take him to the vet soon, but we seem to have caught at early as it is just the edge. Paws crossed!
