ignore the last thread as my brouser went mental and the title didn't make any sence what so ever...
whats your pigs favorite thing to eat at the moment?
chocks is iether dry or fresh dandelion, romain lettis and mellon flesh
will add more when i find out what they are...

You can give them the fruit its self
I wouldn't feed the skin for fear of pest chemicals...

Chock also loves alfalfa hay and blocks both of which you can get from pets @ home...

Also discovered that Chock likes baby leave salad from the CoOp
He usually will leave stocks but today there was just an empty bowl...

My pigs like curly kale, green bell pepper, cucumber, (though I have to cut out the poisonous middle first!)
And also cabbage.:tu:

Baby corn, kale and corainder I'd say. :) They have been going mad for mint as well recently!

Cucumber is perfectly safe for guinea pigs. Just make sure you wash the outer skin well to remove any pesticides. The inner bit has a very high water content so too much of the inner squishy bit can cause diarrhoea. But it's certainly not poisonous to them. A slice or two a day is perfectly fine and safe.

Now I feel better.

Coriander and fine green beans (note, the 'fine' bit - if I dish up the ordinary green beans ie. the cheaper ones, I get that look :td:)

Mine go wild for carrot or melon (as treats). Red pepper always flies out of the bowl, quickly followed by romaine lettuce. Courgette is an absolute no - removed and put in poo corner.

Mine go crazy for spinach, parsley and corriander! Is it ok to give them apple?

Yes, it is alright to give them apple, but only on occasion, my coco goes crazy for it!:tu:

I get my piggies different leafy veg and make a salad, and that is their favourite! (Imcluding lettuces, frisee, red chard, kohlrabi etc)

Parsley is my piggies fave although only given in small quantities. He does love homegrown baby carrots and homegrown cucumber too

My girls adore cucumber and peas in pod. This is closely followed by green beans, corn on the cob, and a bit of carrot. They seem to like pear but have gone off peppers for some reason.

Chocks favorite things are as follows.
CoOp bay leave salad
pets at home mountain hay
woodlands dandelion feast that you can get from pets at home
burjis dandelion and marigold herbage which you also get from pets at home
x l mint nuggets (food)
he's been very spoiled recently lol
i'd rather hear my money being enjoyed rather than worrying about having too much in the bank.

Is the middle of a cucumber poisonous?

Sorry just read a few more posts down and seen that it isn't

How do you give the corn on the cob? Do you have to cook it or anything first?
I bought dried ones from poh and they seemed to like them but fresh ones are cheaper lol

Sorry once again, my pig are under the impression that the middle is poisonous, when in actual fact to is perfectly OK it's just them being their silly picky selves!
