Is dry wheat bran good or bad for piggies? Is it a soft food that means they eat less hay to grind their teeth? Mine go crazy for it as a treat.

I would say no. Is this wheat bran cereal for humans?

It's fine for them, high in fibre. I mix it in with the soaked 100% grass pellets I feed to my lot to even out the calcium to phosphorus ratio. Over the winter I also mix it with grated root veg :)

Ah ok didn’t realise. What is its use?

It's use is a bit similar to oats, can be used for bulking them up, as a treat, for fussy or ill pigs to tempt them to eat or for balancing calcium in things, although I don't think oats can be used for that.

The wheat bran is higher in phosphorus?
