Whee love critical care!

So, with something being not right with Big Dave, I decided today to offer him some critical care, with added vit C in it, just to see how much fuss he'd make about syringe feeding....

I needn't have worried! He LOVED it! As did Boxy who just had to share!

(Excuse the poo - it's clean out day tomorrow!)

Big Dave is going in to the vets for further investigation on Wednesday morning, probably down the lines of blood tests and xrays - at least if he needs medication, I know how I can get it in to him!

Critical care is a very good invention. My guinea has had about 3 short periods of up to a week where critical care has kept him going.

Good to see your guinea is eating it without having to be syringed.

All my pigs are like this. They try to rip the spoon from my hand if i offer some on a spoon. Its good stuff.

I am amazed they will just eat it themselves! When I had to give it to my Amelia Jane she clamped her mouth closed before the syringe and it was a real struggle.

I've mixed it with pureed apple - they're loving it! I gave them some before I went to bed last night, this morning they'd practically licked the bowl clean!
