I know I have kept this rather quiet (sorry Pebble, I haven't even told you!) but I was in mixed emotions about it and so have just been waiting to see if rehoming Gizmo came off before saying anything. And it has, so here he is!

Gizmo has come from the wonderful Bobtails rescue in Ewell, where he was previously known as Horace

however as this is the name of a baddy from 101 Dalmations, we decided to change it.

I met Gizmo four weeks ago when I tentatively went along to actually see a sow called Rum to possibly bond with Noodles. Turns out while Rum looks nothing like my darling Whisks who we lost, her personality was way too similar, and I couldn't cope with having someone so similar so soon. However, also needing a home was this little guy...who is THE cuddliest piggy ever, lol.

He is very friendly and already quite keen on posing...

He has been given the much coveted AudioHeart pyramid bed which he is currently creeping out of, grabbing a pellet or two, then reversing back into to nom them!

As Bobtails know I have bonding experience, they are happy for me to try him and Noodles together, so after a few days settling in we will give them a try...fingers crossed it works out as I don't think we can send this guy back!

HUGE thanks to Tbag for the lending of the cage and for keeping Gizmo a secret for since Friday!
 
Awww what a sweetheart! He is gorgeous! What a lovely new home he has come too, fingers and paws crossed for you that the bonding is a success. Please keep us updated, will look forward to seeing pics of the (hopefully) happy couple x
 
omg he is STUNNING, i wouldnt have been able to resist him either (hence why i steer clear from visiting rescues) you are very lucky !

Hehe, yes covert ops going on, lol. I am very grateful to Tbag for lending it to me, I am slightly worried though as Giz has tried to chew it twice :{

:red ") you know I just always had it at the back of my mind that he might not end up with us, I only mentioned him to Claire. It just seemed too perfect, that I would find such a chilled out, cuddly, handsome piggy right on my doorstep - which is understandable when some of the others have come from Eastbourne, Kent, Leeds and of course Wales!

Gizmo has settled into our noisy, messy flat like he's been here forever - as you can see below he is very relaxed!

They are doing great, I did try and get some pics but they are not so good at standing still...they all have so much energy! I have got some rather amusing pics of Leti the Adventure Pig when she came in the other night (she had a little UTI so was in for her meds) I will get them off my camera and do a Welsh thread tomorrow!
