Jess
Adult Guinea Pig
I have come to the conclusion that my piggies are either very nosey or like to supervise me when I clean out their pen!
Today when probably the most funniest! While I had just managed to remove all the bedding and about the spray down the lino. I heard a chunter going around the shed. Finally a little white head with brown eye ring popped up around the door. Rambo scuttled around the bag of hay and she even ventured towards the door that led into the garage!
That was the first time she had ever done that and my boyfriend was like 'Can I help you?' she stopped and ran away chuntering as she does.
I carried on with the clean out asking my boyfriend to fill up the water bottle, wash out the bowls and to get me some kitchen roll. Again I heard some mischievous chuntering. Out popped Rambo's head from the side of the shed and Pecan had even followed her! (And she rarely ventures off the grass!)
After I had wiped down the lino and for some reason the piggies know exactly when I've put the care fresh in. And as soon as I swapped the care fresh for hay, Rambo appeared climbed over the door frame and into the shed. She started running around squeaking and soon Patch followed as suit! Both guineas were squeaking running over my feet and soon more squeaking but from the outside! Now the other three (Pecan, Maple and Lucky) aren't big squeakers they are very quiet but I have a feeling Maple replied to Rambo and Patch's squeaks!
I managed to get both naughty piggies back outside - Patch ran off to join the others but Rambo stayed nearby watching me while I filled up the food bowls. She even let me touch the tip of her nose before running off!
It was definitely one of the most funnest clean outs in a while!
