Hiya,

Sunshine and Twinkle are in the C&C in the Shed.

Cuzzy is in a Nero 3 in the living room.

Flora and Fleur are in the Lavender Lodge (5ft by 2ft) in the garden but will be brought in each night if the temperature drops. I've enough grids to make a C&C in the house in my spare room. But got to clean that out first! :)

my boys are in a nero cage inside, which they live in all year round, and my girls are in their shed they free range around half of it and they stay in there :) i just weather proof it a bit and put blankets around their sleeping quarters to make it warmer

Hutches inside the shed - they live under the pavilion during the warmer months (enclosed on three sides + roof) but I'm a softy and feel the cold so always move them into the shed! Have got to work out the logisitics of moving our new 6' x 2' hutch into the shed, not sure how I'm going to get it through the single door yet ;D

Mine are in a hutch in the shed, i doesn't have a roof so i put tarpoline over he top at night :)

mine are in their shed in hutches I have a heavy lined velvet curtain over the doors, extra hay in hutches and the ceiling has special foil on it for reflecting heat and when the light is on it heats up a treat in there :) I have also bought them some fleece lined tunnels and piggy beds .

Three are inside, the other two are in a hutch in a big wooden car-port/barn type affair. They will have loads of hay and get covered with blankets at night to keep them warm :)

I could not vote because there was only one option for voting. Mine live in hutches in the shed but I will have a trio at a time in the house in a cc cage

My 2 are in their hutch outside they will have tons of warm covers, plastics, extra hay but it does worry me every year, i wish i had room inside or had a shed but i live with my parents and we dont have much spare room and garage is too full for hutches, and not much warmer.

Ive always kept the guineas and bunny outside but if i had my own house or a bigger place they would be inside for winter or id get a shed.

They are in a sheltered area.

Hi everyone i have 6 piggies and they are all in the house in 2 large shop bought cages i have always kept my piggies in the house not because of the weather but mainly because they get a lot more contact and are held more, but i also have rspca fostered guineas out side in large hutches who do just as well when the weather gets colder i will add more hay and cover the front of the cages and they will be fine :smitten: :smitten: Emma x

My guineas are now in their hutches in their own "piggie palace" shed! I've worried so much about keeping them warm during the winter months my OH gave in and let me buy a shed especially for my 4 gunieas. So they are in their hutches (2 in each) in a lovely warm shed. I have also made cosies for them all, although my 2 older guineas dont seem to go in the cosies but lay on top of them!

Mine are in cages and hutches in several of the spare rooms as always ;D ;D ;D Guinea stuff is everywhere around my house ::) ;D

mine ill be going in hutches in the sheds in the garden once the paint is dry.I dont keep them in there in the summer as they get to hot and even though i have an air con i would worry it broke down or we had a power cut when we where out

Hiya,
I couldn't vote in the poll either as our home isn't listed...

Anyway...Bozzy is in a Nero 2 cage, next to the pc here in the dinning room.
He lives indoors all the time....just plays out when the weather is nice!

Extra blankets to cover the cage at night are being used now though as it's getting cowd!

Merls will be where he alway resides, in his cage in the kitchen. It is right next to (but not too close to) a radiator so his cage is warmed through with the rest of the house.

No disrespect to anyone, each to their own and some have different circumstances ........ but I personally could not leave any animal outside during the winter.

Everybody is staying where they always are! In my room.

I agree with BM, each to their own but indoors is best- you can interact with them more and keep a better eye on them!

Mine are all indoors although I have to say that our first piggies were kept outside and to be honest they seemed more healthy and lived to really good ages! I have often wondered if a warm house isn't the best environment. I love having them indoors and wouldn't ever go back to putting them in hutches outside but its something I often wonder about.
