I was going to buy a big birdcage for $400 and put levels in it for my guinea pigs but I think before I do that I am gonna look at C&C cause it sounds like it could be cheaper. But I am confused as to where to get the bottoms in Canada. I've read that you can get the C&C at costco, what is the Actual none abbreviated name of C&C? So I can ask a sales rep if they have it here.

I think, but someone may come along and correct me, the bottom is called Correx, its the stuff signs are made of.

Oh Whoops I made this in the wrong Section X_X Can A Mod please move it? I was looking at pictures of cages and forgot to move haha.

C&C stands for cubes and corroplast. The coroplast being the bottom bit. That's in america anyway - not sure about Canada?

It differs everywhere lol i have hear people call it correx/coroplast and here in oz its called coreflute;)
C&C cages will be much much cheaper than $400
you can get correx/coroplast/coreflute at any place that makes signs for shops etc
goodluck xx

It comes as one large sheet, you do have to put it together yourself. It's not too tricky, but it helps to have instructions to follow (on the Guinea Pig Cages website) and two pairs of hands!

oh my gosh I am so happy that I looked into this more, I will be able to make such a nice cage for a fraction of what I was going to spend if I bought the bird cage

Can't wait to see what you come up with. :))

In March, it'll be 5 years since we made the first C&C for my pigs. Must have had at least 10-15 different designs in that time!

I would like to make it just like LisaJazz's awesome pig mansion. I'm currently debating if I want to leave Teddy and Carrot in their current cage or build them a C&C one as well. I am hopeing all 6 of my sows can live in harmony, I am gonna try to bond moo and Abby by washing them before I put them together.
