I have tried looking these weeds up on the internet so that I can look in the handy post about which foods my piggies can eat but I cannot work out what they are. I have spent hours trawling the internet trying to identify them. Please help.

They grow on my lawn along with the dandelions and the plantain (that all got eaten). It would be handy if my piggies could earn their keep by finishing them off for me.

Can this website help you with the identification?

I only know that any form of buttercup can be poisonous, but I do not know about these weeds as I don't have them on my lawn. Generally, piggies will not eat what is not good for them; it tends to taste awful.

Thanks for the reply. I am not sure which website you mean. I have looked on the GP forum but there are no pictures to identify the weeds. I have looked on loads of gardening sites but none of the pictures look like them.

I was hoping that someone would recognise them from their own garden.

Not sure about the first one, I've seen it before and don't know what it's called. The second one is definitely rosebay willowherb and the last one looks like wild strawberry (but I wouldn't say for definite unless I saw it in person). Neither of the latter two are poisonous to the best of my knowledge but I wouldn't feed them to my piggies.

Plantain is alright for them right? Mine always eat it and I just asked my dad what it was today and he said plantain, and it was a nuisance so it's good they eat it!

Thanks for the info. Why wouldn't you feed them to your piggies?
