Hiya,
I am getting a couple of guinea pigs in a few weeks time and their home will be a four foot double tier hutch. However at the moment I have a baby rabbit in there who will evenutally have the free run of the shed with my french lop rabbit. As she is only 10 weeks old at the moment I will have to wait for her to be spayed before I can put them together.
So in the meantime I was gonna put the guineas in a cage I have however it's only 100cmx50cm so not really big enough for the two of them, even though they are only babies and anyway my french lop has recently started using it as a litter tray and this is the first time he has ever really done that so don't want to stop him.
Are you with me so far!
So my question is I was going to find a cheapish cage/hutch which would be suitable for the two guineas for the next two/three months. What size would you recommend? Would a three foot double tier hutch be ok? It would be good if I could get one that in the future could be used as a permanent home for two guineas, just in case I decide to get anymore as I have heard that two is never enough!
Thanks
Debbie
