White coloured urine?

I have two new baby girl guinea pigs approx 8weeks old. When i clean out their cage (they are in a nero 3) the patches of cage under the wet newspaper are very white/creamy and have actually discoloured the bottom of the cage. I didn't experience this with my other guineas, their urine was always clear like water. Is this normal?
 
Guinea pig urine is naturally alkaline, thus creamy or white in colour. In concentrated aras - where they pee the most - it can accumulatively dry into large white patches. If individual spots of urine dry white and powdery/gritty, it can be a sign of an inbalanced diet, where the level of calcium is not correctly balanced.
 
Many thanks for the reply, I have been worried about it. They are on pets at home nuggets, and have a regular supply of fresh vegetables and fruit, although finding things they like has become a problem. Our other guineas would eat anything but these two are very fussy. Only hits so far are green beans, greens, carrots, corn on the cob and cucumber ooh and melon. Dont like brocoli, kale, mangetout, peas, baby corn and the list goes on. they adore spinach but as not good for them they only have twice a week!
 
Now that the weather is picking up I am going to go out foraging for my two, there is loads of things in the wild that they can eat, and enjoy. I was told by my vet who keeps guinea pigs herself of a web site called SHELLED WARRIORS, for tortoises, hence the name. As you know they are herbivors and eat similar things to guineas. There is a gallery of the plants that can be picked in the wild.
