Sorry if this already exists as a thread somewhere - I've had a quick look but can't find a matching thread...
The other day, Fraggle my new adopted piggy, had a day where some of his pee also contained some mucous type substance.... a bit creamy... (sorry!) he seems ok again now... just wondering what it was and whether I'd perhaps given him too many veggies?
I've had him almost 2 weeks now, and his stomach has adapted well to all the changes, so I was surprised that he had this stuff out of the blue.
He seemed his normal self - happy, mischievous and looked healthy.... so not sure what it was...... any ideas? x
 
Was it definately in his urine, or might it have been "boar glue" from his man activities.
 
Ohhhhh! Could it have been?! He is not neutered and lives on his own as he can't get on with others (as he was rescued from a house of 130 and lost half his ear in a scrap) - so presumably it is possible for it to have come from 'man activities' ?! :eek:
 
Sounds like it could definitely be "boar goo." just keep an eye on him, if he starts to cry when he pees or you see blood get him to the vet. And 130?! What the heck is wrong with people?! Poor pigs. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have animals. :rant:
