sometimes this white liquid stuff comes out from the corner of both eyes, i dont know if theres anything wrong, he seems to be eating and drinking as normal, does anyone know what it is
It is believed that the gps will creat a natural cleaning solution in their eyes in order to clean them. Sometimes they may even rub their eyes and then continue with grooming their body with it aswell. If it seems as if hes stopped eatting, or you are conserned then perhaps you should get him checked by your vet.
This is an explanation (sp?) from http://www.guinealynx.info/eyes.html Eye Discharge Normal:
Cavies excrete a milky white liquid which lubricates their eyes and is used to help them clean their faces. After the eye fills up with the white fluid, the cavy will then take their front paws and make washing motions. This may happen several times per day although you may never even notice. VC Richardson describes a "milky ocular discharge" as "a normal fluid which is released from the eye as part of the grooming process."
This fluid can sometimes drain to the end of the nose also. A few times I have spotted a couple of tiny drops appearing at the nostrils as the pig begins grooming.
