White spot on eye

Hi all. Cinnamon has had a white spot on her eye for over a year now. The vet has no idea what it is and it never seems to bother her at all. He said it doesn’t look like a hay poke or other injury, just a white discoloring. Any ideas what might cause it?

It looks like bone formation in the eye. Its completely harmless. I cant remember its correct name. However its nothing to worry about.

Hi!

This is called osseous metaplasia when bone replaces other tissues. It is not painful and there is no treatment. It is not all the uncommon as piggies get older. in more advances cases it can form a ring around the iris.
