Who else says silly things to their piggies?

It's blowing a gale here and Sparky seems quite anxious and scared so I have picked him and given him a cuddle and then to reassure him told him "There nothing to be scared off its just the wind, if you can see the stars then get worried 'cos it means the roof's blown off" 98) 98) 98) I am hoping I am not the only one that say totally ridiculous things to their piggies :D :D

I talk to my guinea pigs like people do to newborn babies, they are my lickle, ickle darlings :D I sing softly to them also, I think it makes them feel less nervous :) Mildred our new piggy that we have only had a couple of weeks no longer runs away or squeaks when I pick her up :) I'm totally bonkers about George though, I sing Georgie porgy pudding and pie kissed the girls... 98) :D
 
i change the words from the hey fat boy bing video and sing it to bob and sing "hey fat bob" :D

and i definately talk to merlin like a baby. he loves it! sits on top of his fiddle stick arch waiting for me to go and talk to him, then popcorns like crazy when i do.

actually i think i still talk to munchie and bob like babies too, especially when they are in a cute mood
 
Sunshine and Twinkle love me talking to them like babies. Eccles and Pudsey still run away. My two fatties are so trusting. Flora and Fleur look at me if I am crazy! 98)

I think girls are differeing...lol
 
LOL we are all a little 98) I talk to all mine differently when I am on my way down to the shed I jangle the keys a nd say 'piggies'in a rather high pitched voice lol then I always greet them with the same hi pitched voice. Ronald and Donald get hello you two handsome fellas, pumpkin flash and blaze get a high lads hows things and digby gets a high pitched hello diggers and ladies lol then I speak to them all and give kisses through the bars and basil I have to be quiet as he isnt to pleased with the high pitched totally excited voice he likes the calm hello and a little chat :smitten: goodness knows what the neighbours think :~D but really I couldnt care less lol

In the summer I am ten times worse as they are in the garden in their runs and I chat to them all the time and call them from the door way as I am washing up lol
 
I am always talking to Fugly he hates people talking outside the house or cars driving past so I am always saying its alright baby its outside nothing gonna hurt you.

I ALWAYS talk to my pigs, and Peter rabbit lol I talk to the dog too... and the cat ::)
I kind of go into detail when I talk to them, everyone thinks I'm crazy ;D
 
I chat to mine all the time including the cats. I even say bye to them all by name when i leave in the morning. Bye Murphy Bye Romey Bye Holly Bye Ruby etc sounds like the waltons ;D

I say hello everytime I walk past, good morning, goodbye and goodnight ;D ;D
 
I say to them all 'hello' in the morning and they are all squeaking back at me then the noise gets quieter and quieter as i have less mouths to feed ;D ;D Its sooo funny :D :D :D
 
All I ever seem to say is 'stop squeaking, it's not teatime!' and 'look at the mess you've made in that cage' ;D
 
I said that this morning 'oh for gods sake look at all the poo in there i only cleaned it yesterday *sephy looks at me like what are you on about!?* I'm turning into my mother!

I read somewhere on here that a member sings when her piggies are squeaking. So i tried it as Murphy and Romey wheak their little heads off as I'm chopping veg. So last night i was singing and chopping and they were quiet :smitten:

I always chunner away to mine.
Usually, when Igo in the fridge for milk, they all start wheeking and bar chewing at me.
I say, hey you have had your veggies, whose my greedy boys.
Then give in and give them something, no wonder they always do it. ;D
