I put lots of hay in the hay rack but I don't see it going down and I am worried if there is anything wrong. So I put grass in the hay rack and they ate it until everything was gone. Is it there something wrong with the hay? Does some guinea pig don't like hay?Is there something wrong with the guinea pigs?

Do you weigh your guinea pigs each week as part of routine care? If not, then please do start. Weighing them each week is the only way to know they are eating enough hay. You cannot judge hay intake by eye. If they are losing weight then that can indicate an illness. All guinea pigs need to eat hay

Try feeding hay in loose piles in the cage or in a litter tray rather than using hay racks. They can find hay racks hard to use. I certainly find my piggies eat a lot more hay when it is right by their faces and they can run through it rather than using hay racks.
Perhaps also try a different type of hay

what I can say though is my piggies will finish a pile of grass but they don’t usually finish a pile of hay. Mainly because the pile of grass I give them is much much smaller than a pile of hay I would give them

I tried giving them hay in a small plastic cointainer which is very short, but they kept pooping in them which made them not eat it again

Peeing and pooing on their hay is normal, it’s what piggies do. As mentioned above, I would put in a big pile rather than use hay racks or tuba, and see how they get on. It may be that they prefer another type. They can be picky funnily enough!

:agr:
Yes, they will pee and poop in their hay. Just throw in a pile or two and refresh it throughout the day, removing any wet hay and throwing more fresh hay on top. They will eat hay once they have pooped on it
