I went into a garden centre because i needed soem food urgently, I didn't realise they sold pets as they were kept in a room at the back, and in a tiny glass tank was a pair of himilayan rex guinea pigs :'( the poor things looked so sad and dirty :( and they had what looked like a bowl of bird seed to eat :(
 
I know.
Needless to say I didn't buy the food from there and went to my non-local feed store instead.
I hate seeing animals like that :(
 
Report them, I would. It shouldn't be allowed! :tickedoff:
 
i hope someone will rescue them.

why should harmless animals get less human rights than the animals who come out of prision for horrific offences...grr it makes me mad. :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:
 
The thing is someone buying them will give money to the owners to buy double the amount of pigs. It's a no win situation for the pigs.

More has to be done, a petition on Downing Street, actually that isn't a bad idea!
 
thats sooo awful :tickedoff: i'm fed up with seeing poor defencless little piggies, being treated so badly, it's not acceptable! :tickedoff: :'( :'( why would someone do that? :tickedoff: thats not a bad idea Louise! LOL! They'd probably just say they've got more important things to deal with though >:(

i am not saying it doesn't happen here in australia but we report people like this and the animals get rescued. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: australia may not know much about piggies but we don't abuse them! well most of us don't. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: i think every country has there problems with people abusing pets, some just don't know they are doing things wrongly others should be shot. :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:
am really hoping the piggies get rescued and the place is not allowed to keep any more pets. :smitten: :tickedoff: :smitten: :tickedoff:
 
local council informed- i didn't see a licence anywhere and the shops round here usually display them :) if that faisl RSPCA will be involved :D
 
I hope they can be helped, it was so hard to leave them there :'( why is it always my fave breed that's like this? :(
 
good on you for reporting them if i were you id go back to the shop and threaten them with animal welfair.

where bouts do you live,
makes me so mad wen animals are mistreated like that, its terrible.
