why won't my piggies purr

i have heard on here that piggies purr. :o :o :o i have had piggies nigh on 20 years and never had one that purred :'( :'( :'( my piggies have squeaked, rattled, chattered teeth, sweet late rosie 0 0 0 would sing like a bird but no purring. :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: so please what are we doing wrong we give our piggies heaps of cuddles, nag them to death, have had many many piggies and not one has purred, have had popcorning piggies. guess my piggies aren't happy piggies. :'( :'( :'(

You're not doing anything wrong dont worry! As long as theyre popcorning theyre fine! mine dont purr either x

i have 4 that a very vocal and purr like cats when out for cuddles. 2 girls are vocal but only heard a purr once from each and then my boar carl wont purr at all and he bites everyone constantly, he's driving me nuts at the moment. x

i've had loads of ginea pigs but none of them ever purred either

out of my 9 piggies only 2 boars purr all of them popcorn, every piggie is different and if they were all the same we would not love them as much as we do.

I have one that purrs a lot when its cuddle time but the other one doesn't really do it. :smitten:
