Why?

On social networks they have been saying that at our local park a dog was poisoned on purpose. We dismissed this as rumour but I have just met the lady whose dog it was.A group of lads called it over and fed it poisoned food. It died.It was only a pup.Is this our world now?

Oh, this is awful. What makes it worse that this wasn't done on impulse- why were those lads carrying poisoned food?

It's really terrible that's why we thought it was a rumour at first.we just couldn't believe someone would go out with the intention of doing something like that.
