wow great to see! Great to see that there are some living wild, mind you they seem too have very squirrel like faces?!
 
I love wild guinea pigs. Gorgeous creatures and lovely to see what piggies in the wild are like! Thank you for posting these videos! :)

Just goes to show how far humans have bred out their natural looks to get the domesticated cavies of today!

The first video description states that the cavy in the film is a Cavia aperea, which is a different species to the domestic guinea pig, Cavia porcellus, although very closely related. It's probably the nearest wild relation to the domestic guinea pig, but it's the difference in species that gives it the more pointy nose (that as people have said, some C. porcellus have, but some have lost).

Great to see them, like all animals(!), in the wild :))

Wow I've never seen a wild guinea pig before. I didn't realise they looked so different. They are adorable!
 
Wow, that's very interesting! Wild cavies are a bit different looking than domestic, but still are adorable! x)
