Will eating a paper bag do them any harm?

Well what it is, is I clearly don't feed my pigs... no they don't have a loft full of hay rolleyes, veg twice a day, no thats different piggies your thinking about. You would think that anyway... apparently the paper bag is the tastiest food in the cage... they are all trying to destroy it! I'm thinking I should take it off them").

Please forgive me I'm having a blonde day!

Do they eat them? Thats what it is, but Pebbles seem rather happy to destroy it completely... silly girl rolleyes!

It's ok there having a hay break now :)).
 
I'm pretty sure they'll be okay (as long as they don't eat the whole thing! :)) )

Pippa has a knack for destroying loo rolls too rolleyes
 
I think they tear it up more than eat it, but i bet the greedy guts that they both are did have a trial taste!

I cant imagine it tastes very nice though!

I think they are trying to give me a headache tonight... They are being so noisy. I would almost go as far to say we are going to fallout! Very soon!

they sound very busy.... I am sure they will be worn out and asleep before long... inside the beloved bag of course! (if theres any left)
 
I think the pink fleece has went to there heads :))... They are never normally this loud and Freds been popcorning all night... probably because he knows he's driving me insane :))!
 
yes I made the error of giving george a bag to play with and left it in the cage when I went to bed, in the morning there was only a corner left :)) I don't think it does any harm if it happens once but probably not good as a regular thing! now he only gets thick brown bags (like the kind from primark etc,,) he doesn't seem to eat these as much as the thin kind!
 
We fill a paper bag with hay, but the bag seems to be tastier than the contents! They all love to munch on it, this morning I came down to find only a corner left, and Meg trying her best to hide underneath, as if to say, "it wasn't me!" heh

Dont think it does them any harm, bags I use are just paper, all natural so should be ok for them (hasnt done any harm so far!) xx
 
I don't think paper bags do any harm. It can't be very nutritious though; I try not to let mine eat too much 'junk food'!
 
paper bags are fine i think. just remove the handles though as they could get caught up. i put some hay in them. Austin and Bandit love nothing more than to wait till i gone to bed then they decide to play with it! they do usually end up distroying it! it is also the cause of some serious squabbling between them! nothing dangerous but they done like to share this toy!
