Do Guinea pigs get a winter coat? Marmites fur is much much thicker this year compared to the previous winter.

I'm not sure but mine are certainly dropping more hair!

I have noticed that some of my piggies shed a lot in early summer and in autumn, so I assume that they develop a winter coat.
