I'm really excited :) My guinea-pigs are going into the shed this winter, and it's 8 x 6ft and I'm going to put a small hutch in there, which will always be open so they can run around the whole shed. I'm so glad that they can have lots of space this winter because their hutches aren't very big :)

It's really good that you are thinking ahead. Winter isn't far away now and making sure they are warm and snug is essential.

Little Brambles website has lots of tips on how to keep them warm this winter.

very good tips on your website about winter care and well explained:)

unfortunately my piggies will be outside this year and I will be taking every precaution to keep them warm, we live in the south east so we rarely have snow and they are in a very sheltered top part of the garden against the house wall and a high hedge, I am stapleing on foil bubble wrap onto the outside of tounge and grooved hutches and also I have hutch covers to protect from rain/wind.

I also use upturned boxes stuffed with hay and in the winter months will be changing the fleece/towels every two days to ensure they are very dry:)

I am saving up for a shed atm and also planning where to put it in our small garderolleyes

Thank you :) I can't get the link to work, it just says that it could not load the website
