Won't be around much for a few days

Hello everyone,
I'm sorry I haven't been around much over the last couple of days. My mum has been taken into hospital and its taking up a lot of my time. She has two aneurysms in her brain and one of them has bled. She had an operation on Monday and will be moved out of HDU (intensive care) tomorrow hopefully. Once she comes out of there we can all breathe again. I feel like I have had a telephone permanantly attached to my ear since Friday what with the hospital, my nan in Ireland and my brother in Nottingham ringing non-stop.
So anyway, just to let you know that I haven't moved on to forums new. I'm still here in spirit. :)
Off to make my mark on the game room before I have to make the next round of phone calls.
take care everyone
aww mega huge hugs, hope you're Mum gets better soon..
Take care of you, Deb

Thank you so much for your kind comments and best wishes. It really helps.

After saying that I wouldn't be around much, I've actually found that here is the best place to be at the moment. So I'll be popping in while I'm at work - well I've got to do something - I don't get paid enough to actually do any work ;D

Thanks for cheering me up
*huge hugs to you* I hope you mum gets better and take care of yourself as well.
Debbie I have only just seen this post. I am so sorry to hear about your mum. How is she?
lots of love to you both xx
Hi everyone,
I'm so touched by all your kind messages. Thank you.

Mum is still in intensive care unfortunately as she still has double vision and, although the docs won't admit it, I think this is worrying them a lot. She's never had it before when she has had this operation. She should have been back to the ward days ago. Still, we can only hope for the best. I'm sure she will pull through eventually. She's a fighter is my mum. Its such a shame that at only 52 she has so many illnesses it is turning her old before her time.
I will be a lot happier once they let her out of intensive care.

Sorry about your Mum Deb,

Keep strong (((((((hugs))))))
