so I got my piggie about five days ago. I try veggies almost everyday but she won’t take a bite out of any. She sniffs them a bit but takes no interest. I got her from a pet store, and she’s not an adult yet. I’ve tried sweet bell peppers, lettuce, zucchini, and cucumber. When I took her out yesterday I tried to give her cucumber and she didn’t care. She even sat on it unknowingly lol. She just really needs to eat veggies and she just won’t. I’m not sure how to get her to eat them. Is there some way I can introduce them better? Or a reason she won’t eat them? She also will absolutely not eat out of my hand if anyone has tips on that. But she will eat infront of me.

As a pet store piggy they often aren’t given very much veg so she may simply not be used to it.
She needs to learn what veg is and that it is safe to eat and given you mention a piggy, not two of them, then she doesn’t have a friend to copy.
hay is the most important part of the diet so as long as she eats plenty of it, then she will be ok as she learns what veg is for. Ensure you weigh her every week as part of routine care so you know she is definitely eating enough hay.
Please look to get her a friend as it is so vitally important for their health and well-being to never be alone.

Yes a piggy friend who eats them will teach her to also eat them. I found that with mine. My older piggy eats everything and the young one was fussy at first but hanging out with Bindy she has come to eat most veg now.

Have you tried grass? great for piggies (as long as its not peed on my dogs or cats)
