Wont use the ramp!

Berties new (freecycle) cage has an upstairs with a ramp. Do you think he will go up it!

After almost 3 hours of him sniffing the air as his veggies were up there, and sulking under the mezzanine...

I gave in and put them on ground level. I finally took the upper level out as I decided he might throw himself up there and fall off!mallethead
ps mind you it does say "rat" on his veggie dish, perhaps he thought the rat might appear!rolleyes
 
I've got those levels and ramp in my cages! Only one of my piggies goes up it the other goes half way up the ramp and jumps off!

I'm piggie sitting for my friend and one of hers uses the ramp and level. The other hides under!
 
Haha i think he wants to be big and brave like his big brother Peppa!

I think because my little Buddy bum isnt used to having levels in his cage it's all new to him! In no time I bet both of our piggies will be up showing off on the level!

Your piggie is so handsome! I love his name too! It definitely suits him!

Careful, my piggie used to do the same.
He'd run up the ramp, get to the top and jump down, over and over. I got rid of the ramp and then realised he now doesn't like being picked up like he used to. I think he hurt himself.

Nothing broken just like an old man who can't move as well anymore.
 
How about putting an old sock over it? Otherwise it can be a bit slippery for them.
